Biography
Spectral Mortuary was formed in May 2003 by Jesper Høg(Guitar), Nikolaj Balle(Vocals/Bass) and Morten Siersbæk(Drums), with the purpose to play old school Death Metal. Shortly after they where joined by Rune Koldby on bass so that Nikolaj could concentrate fully on his vocal duties. Soon after Rune followed another new face in the Spectral Mortuary legions impersonated in Kristoffer Rigbolt as the Lead Guitar player. The Band started composing songs and soon 3 songs were done.
Three month after the birth of the band they went to the local Neverland
Rec. Studios and recorded the demo “Among corpses…in the mortuary”.
The songs are mixing fast blasting parts with extremely heavy and groovy
riffing.
Now the band have made several new songs some of it slower then ever some
of it faster then ever. And next on the menu for Spectral Mortuary is
to get on the road and play a lot of concerts and later of course record
the new stuff for your ears to bleed....
